Teen Parent Services

Resource Nurses work with pregnant teens and teen parents under the age of 21 years who are on a cash grant (TANF) and do not have a high school diploma or GED. They encourage and assist teens to remain in school, work on job training skills, obtain jobs, and also keep their necessary medical and WIC appointments. They encourage the teens to develop their positive skills thus increasing their self-confidence to handle life's challenges.
